About The Owner
I enjoyed fixing things from a very young age. I had fun helping my dad work on Muscle Cars and Street Rods. For several years as a teenager, I worked with my Uncle on his Dirt Car. In the late 1980s, I started drag racing as a sport. My involvement in drag racing and my job at an engine machine shop fit well together. I met many people by racing, and this helped me to grow a customer base and expand my knowledge of cars.
I started at Hayden’s Machine Shop in 1985, my senior year of high school. I was there until 1994 when I left and went to work for Samakow Racing Engines. In 1997 and for the next 20 years, I had jobs at 3 other Machine Shops. I started a part time business in 2016 and in 2017 I left the supervisor role at Mechanical Facilities Machine Shop to start my own business. I was actively rebuilding engines for people during this entire 30 year plus time frame.
